Ultra-clear glass is a colorless float glass with a low iron content, which significantly increases light transmission while keeping all other mechanical and physical properties of standard colorless float glass unchanged. This glass is manufactured with very high quality raw materials to minimize residual iron content. Ultra-clear glass contains 15 times less iron than standard float glass.
Unlike standard colorless float glass, which has a greenish tint that darkens as thickness increases, ultra-clear float glass has no color whatsoever, meaning objects viewed through it appear brighter and more vivid, with truer colors.
Dimensions and Specifications
This product transmits 90% of the visible light spectrum, as shown in the table. Available thicknesses range from 3 mm to 15 mm.
