High-selectivity coatings
Reduced energy consumption for heating and cooling
High-selectivity coated glass acts as an intelligent filter between the outside and the inside. These coatings applied through vacuum deposition allow visible light to pass through while selectively blocking the infrared and ultraviolet radiation responsible for unwanted heat. The result is a natural conditioning of the space that drastically reduces the energy demand of heating and cooling systems, both in summer (less cooling) and in winter (less heating). Lower electricity consumption translates directly into fewer emissions and lower operating costs for the building.
Energy efficiency
Optimisation of Solar Factor (g) and Ug Value
The thermal performance of a glazing unit is measured by two key parameters. The Solar Factor (g) indicates what percentage of total solar energy enters the interior: lower values on critical orientations reduce the thermal load in summer. The Ug Value (thermal transmittance of the glass) measures heat loss to the outside: the lower the value, the better the insulation. The optimal combination of both values, tailored to the orientation and climate of each project, allows compliance with — and even exceeding — the requirements of the Spanish Building Technical Code (CTE) and the European EPBD Regulation, reducing the building’s energy demand by up to 40%.

Carbon footprint reduction
Certified manufacturing process
Sustainability starts before the glass reaches the building site. The manufacturing process of the glass we supply is certified under international environmental management standards, with regular audits verifying emissions control, efficient energy use in the furnace and responsible waste management. Glass is also a 100% recyclable material with no loss of properties, ensuring a circular life cycle. The traceability of each production batch allows construction projects to incorporate real carbon footprint data into their sustainability reports and certifications such as LEED, BREEAM or DGNB.
